New York Mets Activate Kodai Senga for Tuesday Start Against Reds

He recently pitched a successful rehab outing for Double-A Binghamton, allowing just one hit over six innings. Mendoza expressed confidence in Senga's readiness, noting that he feels 100% and is eager to compete at the major league level. In addition to Senga's return, the Mets have moved first baseman Jorge Polanco to the 60-day injured list due to left Achilles bursitis. The team also made several roster moves, including optioning right-hander Daniel Duarte to Triple-A Syracuse and calling up right-handers Tobias Myers and Jonathan Pintaro. The Mets claimed infielder Zack Short off waivers from the Detroit Tigers, who struggled with a .167 batting average in 23 games this season.
