Alongside this move, the Mets also placed right-hander Christian Scott on the 15-day injured list due to a right hip impingement. To fill the gaps in their pitching lineup, the Mets optioned Daniel Duarte to Triple-A Syracuse and recalled righties Tobias Myers and Jonathan Pintaro.
